This is an exciting opportunity to join an award winning reputable supplier of domestic appliances and replacement parts. Famous OEMs have since authorised the company to become national distributors of their original parts. This growing portfolio includes Dyson, Miele, Hotpot, Bosch, Hoover, Sebo, LG, Whirlpool, Karcher, to name a few. This company now offers the most comprehensive choice of original and pattern domestic and commercial appliance replacement parts in Europe, supplying 40 overseas countries.

They are now looking to strengthen our Buying Team.

Key responsibilities

Providing administrative support for a Purchasing department consisting of 7 people. This will include:

- sample logging
- order management
- liaising with suppliers to ensure on-time shipment, correct packaging etc
- chasing and organisation of all associated documentation
- ensuring packaging, collateral, and content are created within deadlines
- liaising with external providers such as QC agents, freight forwarders etc
- data management for products, ensuring correct details are entered and stored on system, to include packaging, specifications, compatibility, suppliers, lead times etc
- Basic data analysis and reports
- Assisting with pricing and cashflow forecasting
- Other administrative tasks as requested by team members

Skills required:
- Excel: Basic to Intermediate - (Vlookups, pivot tables, logic statements, conditional formatting)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability and desire to learn
- Must be flexible and adaptable
- Spoken and written communication skills are paramount, as the role will involve liaising with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
- Grad level (will consider a strong school leaver), experience of a similar purchasing function would be an advantage but not necessary
