A cloud and network focused IT Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer is required to join a successful and growing Technology Services company. They make it their business to provide outstanding, innovative service where quality, integrity and respect are key values. The company delivers a variety of outsourced, managed and project services across a wide range of clients, mainly in the SMB/SME marketplace.

They are looking for a highly motivated, cloud and network focused engineer to join them on a permanent basis, someone who wants to be part of a growing, dynamic team of people that works hard to always achieve the best for their clients. The company is employee owned and you will reap the rewards of the contribution you will bring to the team.

You must be well presented, able to build rapport with clients and convey technical work in "plain English" rather than geek-speak. It is also essential that you have an analytical mind, are a committed and flexible team player and are able to troubleshoot effectively.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Cloud migration projects, leading a project or working as part of a team carrying out migrations.
- Desktop and network hardware installations.
- Providing pre-sales technical advice to clients and sales staff.
- Producing clear IT proposals based on client requirements.
- Thorough documentation (progress and final) when delivering projects.
- Innovating operational improvements for the mutual benefit of your co-workers, the company and clients.
- Designing, installing/migrating, configuring solutions and supporting SMB/SMEs.

Cloud based and Network certifications are desirable, but experience in the following is essential:

- Office 365: all aspects including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Skype for Business, Azure AD Connect and Single Sign On.
- Windows Server: Server 2008 onwards, with in depth understanding of AD, DNS and DHCP.
- Terminal Server/RDS: Server 2008 onwards.
- Network Infrastructure: knowledge of networking practises and technologies.
- Virtualisation: Hyper-V and VMWare.
- Experience of VoIP telephony and other cloud related services would be beneficial.

The company is looking for people who can subscribe to an employee ownership culture and team-focused success. The ability to think like a business owner and understand what it means to be a co-owner of a flourishing business is essential. If you are energetic, enthusiastic and motivated, you will fit right in. You should have your own vehicle and full UK driving licence.

Benefits include 30 days annual leave, bonus, employee Health Plan and Death in Service scheme.
