Helpline Advisor - Customer Service/Call Centre
Hours: 36 hours per week (8.45-4.45pm or 9.15-5.15pm with occasional evening working until 8pm and Saturday 9-1pm)
Salary: £18,445 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
If you have experience of working in a busy customer services environment we have an exciting opportunity to join the RNIB Helpline team in Peterborough as Helpline Advisor.
Following the training you will receive, you will advise our customers about RNIB services, products and reading materials, including our digital Talking Books service; a free service that provides blind and partially sighted people with access to over 23,000 titles.
Key to this role will be your excellent telephone manner, effective verbal and written communication skills, good knowledge of computerised sales/service operations and a good knowledge of Word and Excel.
