36.75 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

Working within our Student Support Team, we seek to appoint a Student Support Officer to support students with their behaviour and attendance. The successful candidate will also support disadvantaged and vulnerable students to ensure they secure outstanding progress.
The ideal candidate will have a commanding presence, be firm, fair and consistent, and be able to relate to students in a calm, supportive and positive manner.
The successful candidate will find the college is a purposeful and supportive learning environment, with a strong team of staff who are highly committed to raising student achievement.
This is a permanent post. The hours of duty are 8.15 am–4.00 pm 3 days per week and 8.15 am-4.15 pm 2 days per week, including an unpaid break of 30 minutes each day, term time plus training days.
