Are you a professional and hard-working English graduate looking to become a teacher in the near future?

Do you have a genuine interest in improving outcomes for young people?

If you have personality, energy and enthusiasm and are a talented English graduate you will not want to miss out on this opportunity: please do not delay and apply today.

The role will see you working with students in Years 7-11, supporting the classroom teacher, taking small groups and providing occasional lesson cover within the English Department. There will also be an opportunity to provide literacy support to students who have English as an Additional Language – for which full training would be given.

Common sense and initiative are fundamental, as is the ability to communicate effectively with children and young people.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has the ambition of entering the teaching profession and we would be happy to discuss how we can support you on this pathway.

For an application form and further details please visit the vacancies page on the college website by clicking the Apply button.

Please note we do not accept CVs as part of our application process.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.  This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
