WORKING HOURS: Full Time – Monday to Friday (negotiable working hours) 

THE COMPANY: Our client is a family run business based in Bradford, West Yorkshire who have proudly been manufacturing Astonish cleaning products for over 40 years and are extremely proud of their quality, performance and value. What’s more our client is not only people kind but animal kind too! Products are not tested on animals and contain no ingredients derived from animals. 

Due to continued expansion, a new exciting opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic, ambitious, motivated individual with experience as a Stock Controller to join their existing Purchase Controlling department. 

THE ROLE: The Purchasing Stock Controllers role will require the candidate to carry out the careful monitoring of all stock packaging and also ensuring any orders are raised to deadlines/time frames to cover production plans. You will also be responsible in chasing supply chains where necessary for accurate delivery, be responsible for regular stock management as well as regularly updating and recording data through IT systems and company software. This role also will require physical checking and is critical to this role. 

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Purchasing Stock Controllers position must be a motivated and ambitious person who is able to work effectively in a small but busy team. You must have at least 1 years experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar purchasing / stock control role and have good IT skills, and experience using packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word etc. Candidates must have excellent attention to detail, hold good customer service / communication skills and be able to effectively liaise with suppliers & customers as well as a range of other departments within the business. Candidates must live within or be able to commute easily to Bradford, West Yorkshire. 

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Purchasing Stock Controllers role:-

Must be well organised and have excellent attention to detail
Previous experience as a Stock Controller or in a Purchasing / Stock Control focused/driven role is essential
Must have good IT skills and be able to learn and use new software
Previous experience using Microsoft Excel, Word is essential 
Excellent spoken English and written communication skills are essential
Must live within commutable distance to Bradford, West Yorkshire
