Position: Events Co-ordinator
Contract: Full Time/Permanent
Salary: £28,228 per annum
Location: ZSL Whipsnade Zoo
We are looking for someone to join the ZSL Events Team, based at our office at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. Under guidance from the ZSL Commercial Events Manager this enthusiastic and resourceful team member will research, plan and deliver an annual programme of events which is constantly evolving and expanding.
This role will cover a diverse range of events research, event promotion and onsite delivery. You should have a flair for organising, motivating and making things happen, keeping track of several different projects simultaneously and the ability to remain calm when under pressure.
You should be confident with the ability to liaise effectively with a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers. An excellent team player, good at motivating people, with good written communication skills as well as competent IT skills. You will also assist the Brand Manager in marketing and promoting the events in the press, online and through local contacts. Ideally, you will also have an interest in animals and a passion for conservation.
A flexible approach and full driving license are essential for this role.
This role is full-time, with regular weekend work, which is taken back as time in lieu.
