The UK's premier Drainage Company requires an Operations Manager.

Salary: £38,000 Basic plus Car or Car Allowance and 28 days annual leave
Location: North London

This Independent Drainage company specialises in Drainage care for both commercial and domestic requirements. Now through an exciting period of change through a recent acquisition they are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their North London Operation.

The Role
Within the Operations Manager role you will be expected to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

- Ensure/oversee that all Health and Safety requirements are complied with both in the Field teams and Offices
- Manage and supervise both the engineering team and Office team in regards to dispatch and day to day issues
- Oversee customer service and KPI's with in the business
- Oversee that all quality insurance procedures are being adhered too
- Dialogue with clientele about customer service issues or queries
- Able to assist in quotes and pricing of works
- Oversee that a schedule of Self Audits is in place to ensure compliance with Internal Audit with their H and S co-ordinator
- Order parts and equipment for repair team with their supervisors
- Possess an understanding of all H&S training and follow the quality insurance procedures
- Perform spot check in the field, along with H and S co-ordinator and field supervisors to evaluate company compliance with H&S and quality insurance procedures
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports /surveys
- Schedule engineer workload
- Assist Senior Management with all other reasonable requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

To be considered for the role of Operations Manager you will be required to possess the following:

- Prior Operations Management/Supervisor experience
- Experience working within Waste Water, Facilities Management, Building or Construction sectors would be highly desirable however not essential
- Prior Managerial / Supervisory experience is essential
- A full Driving Licence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
