What vacancies are available?
We currently have a term-time Club Co-ordinator vacancy available; Monday to Friday at our After School Club at Southover Primary School in Lewes. This is a quiet and friendly Club with a mix of Infant & Junior children and a long-serving team ready to share their wealth of experience with you. The shifts at Southover After School Club are 3.25hrs per day to be worked between 3.00pm and 6.15pm plus an additional 4hrs per week for Team Meetings and administration duties which can be worked at a time that suits you.
What to expect as a Club Co-ordinator
As the Club Co-ordinator you will be responsible for creating an exciting and stimulating environment that supports the children’s play. You will be committed and enthusiastic with a passion for childcare and will have experience of running play settings as well as managing a team.
The Club Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring the children in the After School Clubs are cared for in a happy, safe and fun environment as well as planning, setting up and leading a variety of engaging activities. You will direct and support a team of Play Leaders to ensure that the play space is kept reasonably tidy throughout the session as well as helping to clear everything away at the end of the day and providing feedback to parents/carers.
You will also be responsible for managing budgets for both snack and resources, taking payments, leading and inspiring your team, establishing a good working relationship with a range of stakeholders as well as conducting team meetings and supervision.
