Dorothy House Hospice is looking for a dynamic and ambitious Deputy Manager, for our retail charity shop in Warminster.

If you are a self-motivated individual with a commitment to turning donations into vital funds, which enable us to provide exceptional care for our patients, then we would love to hear from you!

As our shops raise funds for our Hospice Care, it is vital that they are performing at their best. We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager with the passion and energy necessary to maintain these high standards.

In return for your hard work and flexibility you will receive a generous 27 days annual leave allowance plus bank holidays. You will also receive a 25% discount in our shops, access to our pension scheme and broader access to development opportunities.

This is a part time permanent role and will be 24 hours per week over 3 days (to include alternating Saturdays). The closing date for applications is the 29th January 2018, and we be will be holding interviews on the 9th February 2018 at the Westbury Shop.

Essential Requirements:

  • Good standard of general education including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Retail experience, Ability to manage Volunteers
  • Managerial - leadership, decision making
  • Good interpersonal skills, Empathetic approach to donors
  • Customer focussed, Able to work on own initiative
  • Hands on approach, Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work under pressure/meet deadlines
