This is an opportunity for an experienced and registered nurse to join a global supplier of medical technology, specialising in neonatal intensive care and patient warming.

Due to continued growth and success, they are now seeking to recruit a part-time Product Support Specialist of infusion therapy. The role is home-based and involves frequent travel across England.

You will work with the Product Specialist to manage their infusion devices portfolio for private homecare; promote, sell and provide after sales support for the whole range of products utilised outside of Acute Care; and provide product support for other OR Infusion team members.

- Provide product support nationally in conjunction with the Product Specialist, and training for end user, parents and support staff associated with the Micrel product;
- Investigate new therapies appropriate to the Micrel range in association with homecare, and relay market opportunities to management;
- Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts in private homecare;
- Demonstrate products and negotiate with hospital clinical teams and homecare nursing staff;
- Provide market information to management;
- Maintain thorough product knowledge including ability to demonstrate products, position products versus competitive products and in-service end-users;
- Produce business development reports.

You must be NMC registered, excel at building relationships and communicating successfully with physicians and hospital administrators, have a full driving licence and be free to travel across England.

A healthcare/medical device industry background and experience in delivering training and support on infusion devices is desirable.

You must have the automatic right to work in the UK, i.e. without the need for sponsorship.

The ability to:
- give product demonstrations and negotiations with hospital clinical teams and homecare nursing staff;
- promote products to homecare companies, hospices and other non-acute care service providers and the effectiveness to communicate value based solutions;
- affect opinions and influence decisions through the use of persuasive, intelligent argument, whilst maintaining integrity and respect;
- gain and maintain the confidence, trust and acceptance from all people;
- work well under pressure, deliver to tight deadlines and in an organised, intelligent, structured and methodical way;
- convey the Company in the most professional manner; strong prioritisation, time management and collaborative relationship management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and report writing skills;
- IT literate, with proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint and ERP software.
