Salary: £10.50 per hour

Hours: Flexible 21 hour week to meet needs of the network.

Neighbourhood Networks encourage people to think about how they might come together to help each other. We work with people who may be isolated or at risk of isolation within their communities. This may be as a result of a learning disability, poor mental health, a physical disability, sensory impairment or as a result of a variety of other circumstances.

We currently have a vacancy for a Lead Community Living worker in Dalkeith. The role involves supporting the development of local networks alongside the Network Manager ensuring that network members are supported to achieve positive life outcomes. The networks in Midlothian are currently focused around supporting younger people who have recently left school therefore some experience of working
with younger people would be desirable but is not essential. We are looking for a flexible, creative and energetic person who feels passionately about the rights of people to live full and included lives, with real mutually supportive friendships.

SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) desirable, or willingness to work towards qualification.

The closing date is: Friday 26th January 2018

The interviews will be held on: Monday 2nd February 2018 in Midlothian.
