This company is the leading UK supplier of drawn plain and tinned copper wire.

Due to an internal promotion and continued growth they require a skilled Sales Administrator.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be working within a small team to ensure continually excellent levels of customer service. Working closely with the Production Planner you will be the main point of contact for customers regarding orders and lead times. Communication both internally and to the external customers is key. There is the prospect of career progression and training for the right candidate.

Your main duties will include:

- Processing sales orders received
- Confirming those orders with the Production Planner and acknowledging the order to the customer with a delivery date
- Controlling packaging and ensuring its timely return from customers
- Keeping customers informed about deliveries and any potential production/service issues which may affect them
- Booking transport to UK, Ireland & Europe
- Providing customers with fast, accurate, reliable and professional communication

You will need to have:

- At least 1 yrs experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personable and friendly attitude, able to build relationships with customers
- Good IT skills (experience of Navision is an advantage)
- Commercial outlook
- Attention to detail (order input accuracy is paramount)
- A fast style of learning, as you will quickly need to be up to speed with Product knowledge
- Experience within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous.

You will be entitled to 20 days holiday per year (plus 8 statutory holidays), company pension and healthcare.
