As Electrical Engineer you will be joining a leading Building Services Engineering consultancy with offices in Dublin, Belfast and London. This role will see you based out of their Belfast office and will give you the opportunity to be involved in the design on some of the most prestigious projects in UK. You will be joining a company where your input and contribution is truly valued and you will be actively supported in any CPD activities and given the opportunity to progress within the company. Our client is an award winning Building Services and Environmental engineering consultancy with a proven track record in low energy building design and expertise in a number of sectors including; Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Hotel and Leisure, Sport, Civic and Cultural and Housing. Their innovative approach to design and engineering solutions has seen them pick up a number of awards and become a recognised name in the Building Services sector. Current requirement for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, some of your duties will include but not be limited to the following : Responsibility for the electrical design of the project, including technical and design management. Preparation of specifications and drawings for predominantly electrical systems. Attend meetings and communicate with clients and project team members to establish their needs. Attend client and project team negotiations and interactions leading to the successful development of design solutions to meet client expectations. Ensure the production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget. Provide some technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced members of the team. To be considered for this role you will have: Experience in a similar Building Services role with an electrical background in a consultancy or design role. Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as Electrical or Building Services Engineering. Working towards Chartership (current Chartership status would be a beneficial). Competent design software and IT skills. Ability to think outside the core M&E discipline and integrate a multi-disciplinary approach into holistic coordinated solutions.
