We’re looking for an experienced HGV Driver (Class 2) to join us at FCC Environment. Working as part of the Suffolk HWRC transport team you will visit our contracted Household Waste sites and handle and service the containers. This role will involve working 34 hours over a four day week including both Saturday and Sunday, operating on a fixed shift basis offering regular overtime, therefore flexibility is essential. Your duties will involve: Driving all vehicles involved with the HWRC contract, primarily drawbar and hook loader units and articulated trucks Ongoing communication with the Transport Office Carrying out vehicle/plant daily checks and simple maintenance to ensure that all equipment on site or being driven on the highway is in a safe and working condition and that any defects are reported Our HGV Driver will need: Clean HGV Class C licence Digital driver card Awareness of environmental and road haulage compliance and law Customer focused Strong work ethic, we need someone who is willing to grow and develop within this busy and committed environment Benefits: Hook loader and drawbar training provided Heavy plant operation training provided About us FCC Environment (FCC Environment is the trading name for FCC Environment (UK) Limited and FCC Environment Services (UK) Limited) is a leading UK waste and resource management company, which is part of a global group with a strong heritage in providing services for communities and businesses.
