FAMILY TENANCY SUPPORT WORKER
An opportunity has arisen for a Family Tenancy Support Worker within a charity based in Portsmouth. The Roberts Centre enjoys an enviable reputation for its work with families and children and has achieved national recognition for its high quality services.
£21,095 pro rata (Full Time = 39 hours)
16 hours per week Worked over 3 days, Usually Wednesday to Friday but will need to be flexible to provide staff cover and meet business needs.
Temporary (Maternity Cover)
The Family Tenancy Support Service adopts a client centred approach in offering practical advice and support to vulnerable families and single adults in addressing issues which may put them at risk of homelessness.
As a Family Tenancy Support Worker you will need to have excellent communication skills and experience of working with vulnerable individuals and/or families.
You will work with the client group creatively to develop action plans and support clients in the following areas; money and debt management, home management, parenting, family relationships and neighbourly relations.
Support provided will enable clients to develop the skills necessary in order to manage their tenancies or privately owned homes independently and reduce incidences of homelessness.

You will need a car with motor insurance cover for business purposes.

Successful applicant will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Disclosure (DBS) disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by The Roberts Centre.
