Assistant Restaurant Manager required for the Antrim Town area. 40 hours per week, £19,000 - £21,000 per annum. We have recently secured a contract to supply high quality and motivated management staff to multiple KFC outlets across both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager you will support the Restaurant Manager in the supervision of shifts to ensure that sales, profitability and standards are maximised and that all Company Policies and Procedures are adhered to. Main duties include: Ensure that all restaurant resources are being utilised to meet the needs of the business Assist the Restaurant Manager in carrying out local marketing activity in order to increase sales Assist in the implementation of in-store promotions and ensure that all staff is fully briefed to deal with any customer queries Monitor food packs, labour costs and controllable expenses to ensure that they are in line with established targets Ensure that all cash handling and in-store banking procedures are adhered to at all times Ensure that the correct level of supplies are ordered, delivered and checked and that stock levels are monitored on a daily and weekly basis, with any discrepancies being fully investigated and reported Assist the Restaurant Manager in the preparation of the weekly labour schedules to ensure all shifts are properly staffed/managed and ensure that labour costs are in line with budgets Completion of shift/daily paperwork and assist in the completion of weekly and monthly paperwork Carry our restaurant awareness reports during each shift and take any necessary action Handling customer complaints and reporting any serious issues to Area Manager Ensure that litter patrols are carried out during each shift Assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure that all new staff receive comprehensive inductions, are correctly trained to perform those tasks assigned to them and are actively encouraged to progress through the Star 2000 training programme Ensure that all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Regulations are followed and corrective action taken as necessary Essential criteria: Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of people Strong communication skills Ability to follow Company Policies and Procedures Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail This role provides you with the perfect opportunity to progress your career within the industry and undergo our Clients success routine training plan to support the development of your management skills and illustrate how to build great teams and drive restaurant excellence.
