Network Adviser (part-time – 2 days / week)
The Good Neighbours Network consists of local groups of volunteers who deliver a range of neighbourly services to local people across Hampshire & Portsmouth.
Good Neighbours Network Advisers actively support 120+ local groups in recruiting volunteers, promoting their work in positive and safe ways. New groups are also developed in response to local need. This post is focused on the City of Portsmouth with travel across Portsmouth and Hampshire necessary at times. Experience of managing volunteers would be an advantage.
The post is initially for a fixed term of 12 months but with the possibility of renewal subject to funding. Salary £25,590 (FTE pro rata) plus pension. Flexibility required.
Portsmouth Diocesan Council for Social Responsibility (PDCSR) is a church charity which hosts the Good Neighbours Network hub, (based in Portsmouth) and is funded by HCC, PCC and CCGs.
