Aegis Shoes Ltd is a small Olney based company specializing in the design and import of shoes under the Pod brand.

We are currently looking for a bright, technically capable web administrator to take responsibility for the day to day running and general maintenance of our website.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Process all online sales as well as returns, exchanges and refunds.
  • Monitor stock levels on all platforms, liaise with sales team and warehouse.
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone calls and email enquiries.
  • Product copywriting and description of new products
  • Responsible for creating and updating all product listings onto our websites and other sales platforms i.e. upload images, product descriptions, pricing etc.
  • Assist the social media role in building sales and traffic through Facebook and Instagram.
  • Create and send regular newsletters and mailshots.
  • Create and maintain marketing calendar to organise and action website promotions, blog posts, events etc.
  • Analyse data using Google analytics with an emphasis on improving product sales.
  • Plan, define and implement webshop changes and functional improvements.
  • Assist with other duties during busy periods as requested.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience of website fulfillment and administration.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Google Analytics.
  • Experience in E-commerce content management systems. We use the Bluepark platform.
  • Experience of working on social media and E-commerce platforms to increase product sales and develop brand awareness.
  • Must have good copywriting skills, excellent English grammar and spelling, in order to write engaging product descriptions and content.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with good proofreading skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including face to face, telephone and written communication.
  • Confident, with good planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and as part of a small team.

Advantageous extras

  • Experience in using Photoshop or Affinity Photo for creating banners on website, newsletters and social media platforms.
