Part Time Customer Services / Business Development
Assistant – 22 ½ hours per week
Outline of the role
To provide excellent customer service, sales and business development assistance and administration support to the clients and management of Cams Hall.
To assist with the provision of all Customer service facilities for the Centre and its users and hirers.
To deal with both phone and internet enquiries, following up with each lead to arrange a viewing for the centre. To be responsible for following up for feedback after viewings to assist in helping to develop the marketing strategy or to progress the sale.
To assist with Business Centre marketing activity including a proactive approach with skills to maximize social media and on line presence.
To greet guests, notifying clients / management of their arrival, to answer the multi clientele switchboard and deal with inbound and out going calls.
To ensure that services are accurately logged for recharging and that there is a detailed administration trail.
To assist with the operation of the hiring system for the Centre including all associated correspondence, arrangements and invoicing.
Assist in the presentation of conference function rooms for use by hirers and the delivery of their catering arrangements.
To deal with incoming and outgoing post including all forms of special delivery & international services provided by the Post Office.
To assist new clients to become familiar with systems and protocols.
To notify management as soon as practicable of any additional client requirements.
To assist with administration and client requests i.e. binding and photocopying, to handle correspondence and maintain computer records & files.
To monitor local media publications & ensure all databases are accurately and frequently updated & maintained as necessary.
To assist in the provision of function services which will necessitate weekend and out of hours working.
To work additional hours as required covering holiday and sickness.
To communicate with maintenance personnel and cleaners.
To participate in corporate functions as required.
To carry out a range of security routines.
To carry out other reasonable duties as required.

To work in a professional and friendly manner
