Accounting Payments Manager
This Accounting Payments Manager job in Aberdeen is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with sound payments experience to join an important division of the wider finance team. The Accounting Payments Manager will manage a team of 4 and be responsible for ensuring accurate and commission calculations to relevant third parties. This is a high-profile role that will see the successful candidate work with a number of senior stakeholders, delivering a high level of customer service.
As Accounting Payments Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the trail and rebates accounting process; ensuring the timely and accurate provision of monthly numbers and analysis to the wider finance team. It's important that you manage the team effectively, ensuring that payments due are accurate, and calculations are performed timeously and accurately. Knowledge of the month-end accruals process is therefore essential, as is your ability to handle queries from a disparate stakeholder base.
It's anticipated that the successful candidate will have a finance background (fully qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience) and have experience of payments either from a financial services or large corporation. Ideally, you will be Threshold Competent, but if not, then appropriate training will be provided to get you suitably qualified. Experience of managing and developing a team will be crucial to your success, as is your ability to process a high volume of invoices/payments, as well as performing accounting analytical reviews.
