Occupational Health Nurse (RGN) - Barrow In Furness Up to £32,000 The Company: Our client's Healthcare Company is one of the UK's leading providers of occupational health services. The Role: The successful candidate will be a qualified Occupational Health Nurse and work in Barrow In Furness. We are looking for a genuine team player who can work alongside a team of experts and industry professionals. We are currently recruiting for two qualified Occupational Health Nurse's to join our team based in Barrow-In-Furness on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 8.5 hours to be worked between the hours of 7.30am to 4pm and 3.30pm to 12am (shift allowance applicable after 7pm) Main duties will include Emergency responses To provide a full OH/Treatment service in line with the client contract including consultation, clinical assessment & treatment, advice, education, medical assessments To provide professional advice, support and guidance to the client and wider multidisciplinary team. Act as a professional role model To assess clients presenting to Occupational Health providing sound clinical advice and treatment To assess client's fitness to work for the appropriate job role in line with DHC policies and guidelines and issue appropriate fitness certificates to the line manager, client and file copy To write letters to GP/Specialists in line with the Access to Medical Reports Act and Data Protection Act To respond to client/manager's requests for support/information on the working environment To provide clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury To provide competent treatment/referral of clients under DHC guidelines and Written Instructions To maintain appropriate records in line with departmental protocols on record keeping To provide health surveillance in accordance with current legislation and In line with DHC policies and guidelines The successful candidate will have Registration with NMC Part 1 and be able to drive and have your own transport. Requirements for Occupational Health Nurse: RGN, NMC Registered, OH qualified, good communicator and well organised, A&E Experience Additional Resources are an Employment Business and an Employment Agency as defined within The Conduct of Employment Agencies & Employment Business Regulations 2003.
