THE OPPORTUNITY:

My client is based on the outskirts of Leicestershire, a well established family-run business. They are seeking an experienced temp to perm Finance Assistant - Sales Ledger / Credit Control Clerk to support the Finance Manager to join on an immediate basis.

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Checking sales invoices to price ledger
  • Credit claims - accurate and supporting documentation enclosed
  • Process receipts to sales ledger accounts and allocate invoices as per customer remittance advice
  • Chase outstanding debts as appropriate-email/telephone/letter
  • Resolve payment queries in a timely manner

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Previous experience as detailed above
  • The ability to work both in a team and on your own
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Use own initiative to complete tasks

WHATS ON OFFER:

  • Competitive salary £18,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
