Payroll Manager, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
This is an exciting and newly created opportunity to become directly involved in assisting with the implementation of a new payroll system for a division of a major household name company following a decentralisation programme. The day-to-day task centres on managing the payroll function and providing an efficient service to over 1000 employees in a multi-location environment.
A key and challenging part of the role will be to work as a member of the HR and Payroll project team in scoping the new payroll solution. This will involve close liaison with the Project Manager and third party supplier in delivering an effective product across the business.
You will assume responsibility for managing the payroll processes, continually reviewing working practises and processes to ensure that the company maintains an up-to-date and effective payroll service to the company.
For consideration you should broadly meet the following criteria:
. 5 years + payroll management experience
. CIPP qualification to at least Foundation Degree in Payroll Management
. CIPP qualified to at least Certificate in Pensions Administration.
. Previous exposure to implementing and/or scoping a new payroll system.
