Housekeeping Supervisor Full Time – Zero Hour Contract The Titanic Hotel Liverpool is all about the restoration of one of our city’s most historic and iconic buildings. As a World Heritage site it forms part of the Stanley Dock Village development overlooking the waters of Stanley Dock. The hotel is a hotel of unequalled proportion of size, service and style. The hotel has 153 bedrooms, The Rum Warehouse – our Events space with a capacity for 1000 guests, Stanley’s Bar and Grill and the Rum Bar. We are currently looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team. The successful candidate will work with the Executive Housekeeper and the Deputy Housekeeper to enable employees consistently achieve service delivery and standards of guest care in line with the standards set by The Titanic Hotel Liverpool. Ensuring that all Hotel Areas are cleaned thoroughly throughout the day. The Housekeeping Supervisor must ensure that all areas are thoroughly checked, cleaned and inspected and signed off ready to handover to Executive Head Housekeeper each day. Main Responsibilities: To carry out training for the Room Attendants. Ensure that we provide guests with requested services at all times and records special requests in housekeeping log To record and store all lost property items accurately according to the guidelines Ensures all room attendants are trained in equipment and cleaning supplies and ensure they are used in accordance with COSHH Regulations to ensure employee safety Minimises operating cost by using all equipment and products in accordance with the hotel’s or manufacturer’s guidelines in response to guest and business needs Ensure all guests receive prompt and committed assistance at all times and that guest queries are followed through to guest satisfaction To attend and contribute to staff and departmental meetings as requested by your Head of Department Skills & Experience A minimum of two years’ experience as a Floor Housekeeper Previous experience of leading and supervising a team Excellent customer service skills Able to communicate effectively to all levels of staff Please only apply for this position if you are eligible to live and work in the UK.
