Our Client, one of the best fine dining establishments, in Suffolk, are looking for a well-rounded Senior Sous Chef to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and switched on Senior Sous Chef to work in a fresh food kitchen cooking with some of the best fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.
This luxury hotel, restaurant and bar is located in beautiful Suffolk and is set amongst the rolling hills and valleys. This amazing building has proudly been part of the Suffolk landscape for centuries, and is steeped in rich history. Offering elegant country suites, exceptional international cuisine and a comfortable stylish bar, it’s the perfect place to enjoy all that the region has to offer.
With spectacular views across the valley, a bold open kitchen and a creative signature menu that will amaze and delight, dining is always a unique and memorable experience.
The ideal Senior Sous chef will join a large and highly organised kitchen, with a team of 10, led by a dedicated and talented Michelin trained Head Chef and will be directly responsible for the kitchen in the absence of the head chef.
The ideal Senior Sous Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation. Whilst being able to work in a team, they should take their own initiative, be innovative with concepts and ideas and always be looking to better the current standard whilst remembering their target audience. A Rosette background is desired, and experience with banqueting and high volume is preferable.
