Athena PTS are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. AthenaPTS are a dynamic and rapidly expanding company with a large range of projects working in the energy, defence and nuclear sectors.The role will be working initially alongside our existing maintenance engineer before working independently. AthenaPTS carry out maintenance work for a number of different clients and the successful candidate must be comfortable with dealing with clients. The successful candidate should hold the following experience; · Responding in an effective manner to all electrically related maintenance issues · To co-ordinate visiting subcontractors associated with electrical aspects of PPM schedules · Carry out PPM activities ensuring engineering standards are maintained · Ensuring quality assurance procedures are adhered to, maintaining accurate records and documentation · To diagnose electrical faults in installations and equipment repairs · To repair electrical systems and controls associated with Heating and Ventilating Building Services · To Repair and maintain lighting and distribution systems including DALI lighting controls. · To assist with the installation and final commissioning of equipment · Marking up as built drawings and liaising with the design office to update the drawing database. · Carry out testing and inspection of new and existing installations · Perform isolations, including safe lock off procedures and dead testing. Requirements: · 17th edition wiring regulations · Inspection and Testing C&G 2391 or equivalent · PLC experience (would be advantageous) · HSE qualification (Experience of producing RAMS will be an advantage) · ECS & CSCS · Working knowledge of MS Office · Must be able to hold SC Clearance As well as competitive salary you will receive generous benefits package, pension contribution, company vehicle, paid overtime and flexible working hours.
