Your New Employer Located in Carnforth, this well respected and rapidly expanding leisure group with a diverse portfolio of interests and an ever increasing customer base, are currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to add to their existing substantial finance team. Your New Job As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for the cash reconciliation, ensuring invoices are accurately calculated and produced in a timely and effective manner, you will also have responsibility to manage sales ledger, payroll and credit control duties within the finance team. As the successful Assistant Accountant you will provide month and year-end reports, dealing with quarterly VAT returns, as well as handling any journal entries. Your Experience & Our Requirements Our Client is looking for a knowledgeable Assistant Accountant with a proven track record of dealing with a large amount of reconciliations, previous experience working within Bookkeeping as well as past experience in sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll, AAT level 3 qualified is preferred. You will thrive in a fast paced and energetic working environment, and will be an excellent problem solver with the ability to think on your feet. Your ability to deliver customer service will be second to none and you’ll possess an excellent telephone manner. Your Future As The Successful Candidate You’ll receive a competitive salary of up to £25,000 per annum, with a generous holiday and benefits package.
