Sales Ledger Assistant
Your next challenge: Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting our Darlington based client in recruiting a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their team in this permanent post. The duties and responsibilities will include: Posting and allocating of cash payments on to both individual and bulk sales ledger accounts. Processing and collating of regular invoice batch runs via the internal income processing database. Monitoring and recovery of debtor balances via private and local authority residents for accounts up to 30 days past due. Maintaining client records and financial details. Full reconciliation of cash and revenue variances as at each period end. Maintaining sales ledger filing. As the ideal candidate, you will be: Have previous sales ledger experience, or a passion to secure a role within a finance based setting to support your AAT or finance degree. Have strong communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to build both internal and external relationships. Be comfortable analysing data using Excel and keen to problem solve. Have an understanding of finance terminology including, Accruals and Pivot Tables etc. Be comfortable in chasing debt if no previous experience of this.
