Junior Product Manager For 70 years my client has proudly designed and manufactured cutting edge, stylish, high quality industry leading products. They currently seek a Junior Product Marketing Manager to support the Marketing Manager in the delivery of projects and to provide high level marketing and communications support to food preparation products. Job Duties: To work independently and lead and manage projects supporting the long-term roadmap To champion the voice of consumer during the entire product development phase To become the analytical champion of the category, providing ongoing insights and trends to wider team To develop, alongside Senior Product Manager to compliment new products To prepare briefs to initiate consumer research to support the validation of product concepts / initiatives To work with other all key functions within the New Product Development team (NPD) project team to ensure projects are delivered on time To maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, key competitors and end user needs within each product category managed To prepare on a monthly basis a report highlighting new news within the category and presenting back to the wider team key insights and trends gathered To be involved in the planning, preparation, presenting and demonstrating at key internal conferences / events and International inductions To present during key meetings new product/project updates with data to fully substantiate to the marketing and commercial functions during NPD meetings and other commercial meetings To frequently analyse markets and organise quarterly meetings with key countries to cover topics to support the business with ongoing follow-ups To create product information packs To brief and manage the communication materials to support existing and new products. Together as a team you will work closely with key markets to ensure they have everything they need to support existing products, or material is available across all new products ahead of launch To attend relevant consumer facing events to identify key trends that can be shared and presented back to the wider team Qualifications & Experience: 2-3 years experience in marketing Relevant Marketing/Industry experience ideally degree educated in business or marketing Strong content creation skills "Can-do" attitude Ability to work unsupervised when necessary Attention to detail Competent in Microsoft applications (eg PowerPoint/Excel) Forward thinker Resilient Problem solving skills Comfortable working in a team environment This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/81770094
