Are you a highly organised Project Manager who would thrive in a fast-paced team within a dynamic national business? Do you experience of working with NHS Trusts on a variety of projects? Would you thrive in a role where no two days are the same? We have an excellent permanent opportunity for a Project Manager to join an expanding national consultancy, based at home with a requirement for national travel.

As a Project Manager with extensive experience working with NHS Trusts, you will be accomplished and highly adept in all that you attempt, with proven experience in project delivery. Expertly using software and programmes such as PRINCE2, Agile and Visio and working under pressure to very tight deadlines in a truly fast-paced role, you will be efficiently leading the delivery of multiple projects within budget constraints, and have the ability to fully interpret the requirements of each client. The ability to anticipate and neutralise project risks is essential for this exciting opportunity.

In this varied and challenging role, you will be tasked with managing the project cycle from conception through to completion for this organisation, ensuring it is delivered to the highest standard. You will also maintain and update all documentation related to the projects you are managing, along with coordinating any necessary changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs. You will be tasked with facilitating and leading project meetings and workshops with both internal and external teams, ensuring progress is consistently made. Managing the day-to-day operations of project management, you will ensure that stakeholders are kept up to date with project progress, and you will ensure that deadlines are consistently met. You will be able to display an excellent track record of accurate and high-quality project delivery across a variety of projects.

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar environment, liaising with internal departments to underpin your processes and ensure that all information is correct and understood. You will ideally have experience with delivering projects within NHS trusts. With multiple projects running at any one time, you will have the ability to constantly re-prioritise your workload whilst still ensuring outstanding attention to detail. You will relish the chance to use your own initiative in implementing best practice procedures to ensure efficiency of your project team.

With excellent technical skills and the ability to use a several key software programmes, including Agile, PRINCE2, Visio, MS Project and Gantt chart management, you will ideally need to be qualified to degree level or equivalent. General IT skills, particularly with Excel, and competent in the use of database systems and creating documentation is also vital. You will have outstanding communication skills and the ability to build relationships with ease. The right attitude is crucial for this team, alongside the ability to really “hit the ground running” and make an immediate positive impact.
