£22,000 basic salary plus bonus (£25,000 OTE)


A fantastic position has arisen with my client in Chester for a Sales Team Manager to head up their Reservation Sales team. The company are one of the UK’s leading holiday property rental companies and it would be the individuals responsibility to continue to motivate, develop and drive the current established team going forward. On offer is a basic salary of £22,000 plus bonus and several company benefits. Due to the nature of the industry you would need to be available to work 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis between 9:00am and 10:00pm- therefore it is vital you are flexible to work some weekends and evenings.

The main duties of a Sales Team Manager are;

  • Work with the senior managers to assist and support in delivering team targets
  • Work with the current team in ensuring individual and team KPI’s are achieved and identify areas for development and improvement
  • Provide on-going advice and support to current employees
  • Assist in the induction and training of new team members
  • Conduct monthly 1 to 1 reviews with team members
  • Providing ongoing training and development to Reservations staff using various techniques
  • Bring new ideas to the table for improvements in current processes
  • Lead the team by example by showing a positive and proactive mentality and attitude

To be considered for the position of a Sales Team Manager you must;

  • Have management experience in a similar environment - sales/account management within an office/sales/contact centre setting
  • Have staff coaching and development experience
  • Possess the ability to grow and nurture strong relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Be a team player and be capable of dealing with strong personalities
  • Be assertive and proactive in the workplace
  • Possess strong organisational and time management skills
