Children in Need & Lottery funded post
Home-Start Corby is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families. Volunteers offer regular, informal and confidential support to families under stress in their own homes helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.
We have received grant funding from the Big Lottery Fund and Children in Need for two exciting projects ‘Home Wasn’t Built in a Day’ and ‘Home is Where Our Story begins’.
We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Administrator to work alongside Home-Start staff and Trustees, and partner organisations.
Excellent general office and IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, are essential; as are the ability to prioritise own workload, work on own initiative, create and maintain office systems, arrange meetings, collate agendas and take and distribute minutes, and deal sensitively with the public. Book keeping knowledge and experience of working in the Voluntary Sector would be an advantage.
This position offers the opportunity to become involved with a variety of aspects of the project which may involve some weekend and evening hours.
A pension scheme is available.
For further details, an informal discussion or to request an application pack, please contact Maggie Mackay on 01536 409612 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
