We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to come and join. The role is contract with a view to going perm. Offices right by Covent Garden and amazing startup culture. The Role Work closely with, and report into a Lead Product Manager, to set your roadmap and strategy Have a keen eye and ability to identify areas for improvement on the product that you are responsible for Be a bridge between the business and your team of developers Own the delivery of a KPI target for the business - this could be volume of jobs, optimising the funnel or improving the overall experience. Be accountable for results and iterate to improve outcomes Work with key stakeholders, including your customer, to transform business requirements into digestible epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria Manage Agile workflows and ceremonies including refinement sessions and planning meetings Work closely with designers to define the look and feel of your product Develop actionable, customer and trader focused strategies to drive value for the business Create compelling competitor and customer/trader insight using a number of methods including usability testing and research Lead the process to develop new innovations to the business products and services including pulling from other Centrica Business Units. Ensure these propositions maximise retention, cross-sales and up-sales opportunities Ensure that new and existing products and new propositions treat customers fairly and are in compliance with FCA, Ofgem and other regulatory and legal requirements, whilst also achieving business objectives Develop product strategies to maximise the value of our customer base and support the increase in total product holdings across energy, services, and Connected Home products The Person 1-2 years' experience working in Product Management or a related field Passion and enthusiasm for product and technology, and willingness to learn more You will have the ability to give honest and constructive feedback and will never shy away from having a controversial opinion (when necessary) You should have an understanding of Agile including both Scrum and Kanban Experience working in a startup or a small company would be beneficial - if you don't have this, don't worry, we just need a hands-on go getter.
