LOCATION: Covering Liverpool, Wirral and Warrington 

JOB TITLE: Traineeship Co-ordinator 

SALARY & BENEFITS: £20,000 per annum + Incentive package (part time hours would be pro rata)

WORKING HOURS: Either Full Time (Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4pm) or Part time (9.30am - 3.00pm Monday – Friday)

THE COMPANY: Our client are well established and they offer teaching facilities to young people aged 14 – 19 to obtain BTEC qualifications in construction. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Traineeship Co-ordinator to join the team covering the Liverpool, Wirral and Warrington areas.

THE ROLE: For the role of the Traineeship Co-ordinator, you will work with employers across Liverpool, Wirral and Warrington to develop strong working relationships with a range of employers within the sector. 

Key Responsibilities for the Traineeship Co-ordinator role to include:- 
• Engage employers who can offer a quality work placement.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with referral agencies, employers, progression
providers and other stakeholders.
• Liaise with the Marketing Officer to ensure social media and marketing is current in relation to employer, business and centre needs.
• Recruit either internally or externally suitable young people for Traineeship opportunities.
• Setup and manage placement opportunities.
• Co-ordinate the delivery of our Traineeship programme.
• Review and track progress of students on programme.
• Progression of Traineeships students

THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Traineeship Co-ordinator you will have excellent communication and networking skills. You will be able to manage work related priorities You will have a passion for working with young people and be enthusiastic and an excellent communicator. You will have the ability to use initiative and work independently, be highly motivated, innovative and solution focused.

Key experience essential for the role of Traineeship Co-ordinator :- 
• Businesss development experience
• Recruitment experience
• Experience of working to targets
• A valid full driving licence with access to your own vehicle
• Working with young people aged 16+ would be advantageous
• You will have to undertake a DBS check
