A leading international process business is looking to recruit a Maintenance Team Leader to manage a small group of multi-skilled maintenance technicians at their 24/7 operational plant near Wakefield. The operation is a public sector contract, which makes the position very secure as the contract has over 23 years to run. To be considerd for the role you will have previous experience leading a small team of Mechanical MaintenanceTechnicians or Engineers within a similar process driven, industrial environment. This role works on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern The Role Effectively manage the day to day running of your assigned shift. Plan, carry out, and document all preventative, condition based and reactive maintenance. Effective diagnosis ensuring repairs are completed safely, swiftly, completely, and economically. Maintain up to date records of assets, calibrations and service histories. Undertake work both personally and in close liaison with shift team members and external contractors. Demonstrate a team approach with operational colleagues. Work prescribed shift pattern to support out of hour's preventative maintenance works. Develop and manage routine maintenance programs. Maintain workshop, tooling and test equipment to meet policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Ideal Experience Required Experience leading a small team of Technicians or Engineers within a similar process driven environment. Working in a process or production environment, with a fault finding and diagnostic approach, reactive breakdown repairs, planned maintenance work orders. An HNC/HND/CG (or Industry equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering You will have a good level of experience leading a small team of Engineers/Technicians Knowledge and practical experience of large Conveyors, Chain Drives, Hydraulics, material Compactors, Shredders, Overhead cranes and Pneumatics is desirable. You must possess a valid UK driving licence. Experience in process based industries such as waste, waste water, manufacturing, quarrying, agricultural etc. would be considered.
