Are you an experienced Registered Manager / Home Manager with a good track record of managing residential services effectively and in compliance with CQC standards? We're looking for somebody to manage a residential home for people with disabilities in Harrow, you’ll be working for a great company who though a wide range of disability, and education and community services promote inclusion and well-being for all. The Registered Manager role

* As the Registered Manager you’ll manage the service though a team of staff ensuring that safe, evidence based practise is used at all times. You’ll oversee the delivery of a quality based care and support service, enabling residents to access and maintain a healthy lifestyle within assessed need and make effective use of opportunities for learning and leisure in the community
* You’ll ensure that the company’s policies and procedures and CQC standards are met at all times
* You’ll promote the development and inclusion opportunities for all people attending the service
* You’ll lead, manage and monitor the staffing teams, ensuring that staff are recruited, trained, supervised and appraised within the company’s policies and procedures
* You’ll be responsible for safeguarding
* You’ll ensure that the service is meeting stator requirements and that reporting systems are in place and are followed.

The Successful Candidate

* We’re looking for somebody who has experience of being a Registered Manager / Registered Hone Manager previously and who has worked in a residential service before. This service supports those with disabilities so experience in this area would be beneficial
* It would be beneficial if you could demonstrate a track record in improving and maintaining a care service.
* You’ll need to demonstrate and excellent knowledge and the ability to implement CQC standards for quality and safety
* You’ll have skills in developing positive relationships with stakeholders, including local authority and families
* You'll need the QCF level 5 or equivilent in social care
