A leading Chinese news / media business is seeking an experienced Video Producer to join their Central London office. The role will have responsibility for creating online and multimedia content to increase engagement with users and subscribers. The successful candidate will have strong experience in producing engaging, relevant and newsworthy content to be shared across social media, websites and apps in both Mandarin Chinese and English – all under very tight time pressure. SALARY : £20–28K, depending on experience LOCATION : Central London TYPE : Permanent, Full time START : ASAP UNFORTUNATELY, THE COMPANY ARE NOT ABLE TO SPONSOR VISAS CORE DUTIES · Producing video including short and quick social videos, day-to-day news reporting, breaking news and live streams · Passion for video news story-telling · Work collaboratively with the editorial and video teams to help pitch video ideas and elevate production value · Manage projects through the entire production lifecycle, from concept, pre-production, production and post when needed · Maintain an understanding of the emerging trends in social media and world news IDEAL CANDIDATE · Fluent in Mandarin and English · Either a university degree or equivalent in video production OR a minimum of 1 year of video production and post-production experience in a professional environment · Proficiency with Adobe CC, emphasis on After Effects & Premiere · Experience using Canon DSLR and Sony professional video cameras · Ability in maintaining tight deadlines · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal · Must have a strong work ethic and demonstrate consistent attention to detail. · Positive attitude · A portfolio/demo reel demonstrating a history of video productions If your application is successful, you will be contacted within 2 days.
