Location: Brinkworth Senior Credit Analyst required by a leading Fortune 100 company and globally renowned fuel supplier The Senior Credit Analyst will proactively implement credit risk standards, approve credit limits and monitor credit exposure for routine and complex transactions. This position will collaborate within a team environment with sales, financial and commercial operations, and marketing to ensure that World Fuel Services is exploring all available credit tools and options, to maximize our sales potential with all customers while remaining within our corporate guidelines. Responsibilities: Administer the policies and procedures dictated by Executive management as they relate to credit evaluation, collection, and exposure control Manage and prepare credit rating reports on customers Investigate financial standing and approve (or reject) credit applications Establish and control credit lines and payment terms Provide guidance and mentoring to a small local team Inform management of collection and credit issues Liaise with Marketing and guide Sales staff with information to help promote our services. Assist Sales in delivering value propositions to customers as they relate to time value of money Receive data from the finance and commercial teams. Perform risk analyzes and control and maintain policies and procedures The Individual The successful candidate is likely to have in excess of five years’ experience in a credit analysis role Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive timelines is essential Strong grasp of key financial elements that result in sound credit decisions is essential Strong collaboration skills are essential Good understanding of types of security, and managing collateral, used to secure customer trade receivables is essential Experience of building direct customer relationships across a varied portfolio of customers is essential Experience within the road fuels industry is desirable
