JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative

SALARY: £18,229 + 25 days holiday + on-site car parking

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week on a rolling rota with 8.5 hour shifts including some rota’d Saturdays.

They are now looking to recruit a number of Customer Service Representative's to join the team in Portsmouth.

THE ROLE: The Customer Service Representative will be carrying out and completing tasks ensuring the operation of the Global Service Centre effectively and efficiently delivering help desk services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved. 

Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative role to include:- 

• Action all Helpdesk requests, via telephone, email request or online request.
• Liaise with site-based contacts to ensure jobs are closed off in a timely manner.
• Ensure the customer is kept aware of the progress of a job and any reasons for delay
• Feedback information or any issues that may affect the contract performance or cause client dissatisfaction
• Respond in a professional and courteous manner to every customer, recording all requests
for service to accurately reflect correct priority for work based on health, safety, business
criticality and customer expectation
• Maintain awareness and contribute to the achievement of KPI and quality standards
• Ensure timely management of complaints maintaining efficient and professional
communications with all parties
• Provide clerical and administrative support including email boxes, customer satisfaction
surveys, meeting room booking reports, courier requests and any ad-hoc requests


THE CANDIDATE: The successful applicant will have outstanding active listening skills along with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing. You will be an enthusiastic and effective team player who has a confident and assertive telephone manner. Ideally you will have experience working within a similar Customer Service role, however this is not essential as full training will be given. 

Key experience essential for the role of the Customer Service Representative:- 

• Ability to offer Excellent Customer Service
• Live within a commutable distance to Portsmouth
