HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner role, will allow you to develop and demonstrate your skills and experience as an experienced HR generalist from a Corporate environment. Providing solutions which are of benefit to the organisation and it's employees, you will add value in support of the achievement of business objectives. You will be responsibile for a variety of activities from handling employee relations issues through to supporting change programs and will need to work effectively with a diverse workforce. Whilst this role will work directly with an assigned business area, you will work closely with the orher members of the HR Business Partner team and the wider HR department. Partnering with the business, you will support the implementation of business strategy through effective people strategies. What We Give: Understanding the business objectives and requirements for your assigned business area, you will work alongside a Senior HR Business Partner to deliver HR Organisation & People Plans in consultation with the appropriate Business Managers. You will have a thorough understanding of Canon's corporate objectives and ensure that HR Business Plans support the achievement of these locally in Canon UK. In addition you will be involved in key HR initiatives, including talent and succession planning & employee survey action planning, supporting change initiatives and influencing management teams to operate within Canon Europe (CEL) and Canon UK (CUK ) guidelines. You will provide agreed levels of a generalist HR support to the organisation including recruitment, people development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits. Working with the UK HR management and HR Business Partner teams, you will deliver local HR initiatives that support pan-European strategies and policies. You will take an active role in UK projects and will need to work effectively within the allocated KPIs and budgetary constraints. Exchanging best practice and HR/business experience with internal and external HR colleagues and business contacts, you will enhance the performance of the HR function. Self Development is important at Canon and you will be encouraged to take further training to develop your skills in this role through the support and guidance of your Manager. What We Ask: CIPD qualified Level A and B Psychometric testing - preferred Must have previous experience working as an HR Business Partner in a Corporate setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach to achieving business objectives and finding solutions to business challenges A commercially astute thinker. Excellent organisation and planning skills with a high level of attention to detail. An aptitude for analytical work with a drive maximise the value add from HR MI. You Will Need: You will need to be commercially astute, possess excellent customer service skills and have a strong business focus to support your excellent Business Partnering skills. A proactive change agent with a drive to deliver, you will use your influencing skills to achieve results. This role enables you to develop your skills, demonstrate a strong work ethic and be passionate about driving the HR agenda to the benefit of the organisationas as a whole.
