We manufacture jointing systems and technical products to meet the needs of our worldwide customers within the automotive and other industrial markets. We seek to recruit an hands on HR Employee Relations Advisor to take ownership of our employee relations activities. Working in a high volume blue & white-collar environment within a lean HR team. Based at our Keighley site, which employs over 600 staff on site. The Person: HR Employee Relations Advisor ·Working as part of a proactive, innovative and responsive HR team to provide pragmatic, creative and business focused HR solutions and recommendations across the business. To build and develop relationships with managers and staff at all levels and to provide support and guidance on a range of HR matters and share best practice. ·Providing first line advisory service in issues like absence, grievance matters, conduct and capability, organisational change and employee and employment relations matters. ·Leading management of casework for sickness absence, making recommendations, giving support and advice to managers. ·Supporting managers in performance management culture area by supporting the capability-related casework, guiding and advising managers with relevant policies. Preparing ad hoc and regular management reports supporting in improvement of management and monitoring performance management and sickness absence systems. Developing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships demonstrating professional credibility. Keeping up to date information regarding developments in human resources practices, employment legislation, and sharing of knowledge within team. Identify and make recommendations for improvements in processes and practices. The Person ·An accomplished HR Advisor who enjoys the employee relations side of HR.You will be hands on and has worked within a high volume Blue-collar manufacturing environment or similar. ·You will have Sound working knowledge of Employment Law coupled with Excellent knowledge in all aspects of operational HR ·You will have excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a team.Coupled with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade influence and, when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy. ·Sound knowledge of practices of Human Resources with a high-level knowledge of legislation of employment. ·CIPD qualified or equivalent spent accomplishments within all aspects of operational HR ·Computer literacy is essential.
