HR Business Partner Your new company My client is a highly successful business to business service sector organisation with an impressive heritage and high profile portfolio of clients. Following continued business growth, they now have an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team based out of their Crewe Head Office. Your new role Working with the HR and Training Manager and other members of the HR and L&D team you will provide a professional HR service to managers and staff in order to promote best practice, support the development of people in line with business objectives, adhere to employment legislation and promote the values and culture of the business. Key Responsibilities: To provide advice and guidance to managers and team leaders on employee relations matters including grievances and disciplinaries, and flexible working requests. To support Managers and Team Leaders with sickness case management, including organising occupational health appointments. To build effective working relationships with the Managers and Team Leaders through collaboration and gaining credibility, to influence, coach, support and develop them in their approach and consideration of employee relations issues, ensuring they understand the impact of these on the individual and business. To support wellbeing and engagement projects including research and preparation of strategic papers. To undertake psychometric analysis for the purpose of recruitment and selection and coaching/ personal development. To support the HR & Training Manager in the implementation of change programmes as and when required. To organise health and wellbeing days including therapy sessions. To undertake all administration in relation to the employment life cycle of staff to ensure appropriate records, correspondence and other documentation is created and stored in accordance with our legal obligations and best practice. To manage the administration of the employee benefits including the cycle to work scheme and EDAP, linking in with Payroll to ensure the appropriate payments and deductions are made. To create and review HR policies and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose, meet our legal obligations under employment law and they are representative of the culture and values of Health Shield To undertake HR projects as directed by the HR & Training Manager to enable the HR Department to provide a first class and proactive service. To maintain continuous professional development in line with CIPD best practice, including attending seminars and external training courses. To understand and demonstrate the ability to work flexibly for the benefit of the HR team and for the business and to take on new projects and initiatives that are considered to fall within the duties and responsibilities of the job role. Any other reasonable duties as specified by the line manager, or senior managers. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced HR Generalist, ideally CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified or equivalent and a clear track record operating in a business partnering role. You will have strong employee relations experience with an excellent aptitude for HR systems and strong influencing and relationship building experience.
