Working in a dedicated digital sales team selling and creating client led solutions across online display Advertising, CPC, CPA, video, content, editorial, Sponsorship & Promotional initiatives.
Our client is a leading National media company and household brand with an exceptional reputation for a range of innovative market leading media platforms. As one of the largest media operations in Scotland their instantly recognisable high profile household brand covers a range of high impact advertising platforms including publishing and digital media. They are at the cutting edge of media innovation and due to the continued growth and expansion of their online media platforms they currently require a Digital Media Field Sales Executive.
Working in a dedicated digital team you will be working on their range of business to consumer websites, mobile apps and social media platforms. You will be responsible for selling a range of online advertising solutions to a mix of new and existing customers both over the phone and face to face. Your customer base will include a mix of sectors for direct clients. You will be responsible for maintaining and understanding your sector, market conditions and competitor sites. This will be a highly creative role where you will be responsible for researching opportunities then developing and creating client led solutions across a range of unique bespoke online display Advertising, CPC, CPA, video, content, editorial, Sponsorship & Promotional initiatives on behalf of clients and presenting these to them. Your focus will be on creating profitable commercially viable opportunities tailored to the client to ensure results and the optimum share of all budgets. Once on board you will plan and manage the campaign and feedback results to clients. You will act as a first point of contact for the internal sales team to ensure successful translation of digital sales. You will support the print sales team to increase their digital knowledge and portfolio sell to customers and spend time dual calling with field representatives to this end. The role will involve generating new ideas and new business and developing these into long term managed accounts. You will contribute to the development of medium and long term digital sales strategies and plans. You will be working towards KPIs, revenue targets and deadlines
Ideally you will require have a strong Media Sales background and experience of selling dedicated digital display advertising packages solutions from any non recruitment sector from either an office based or field sales role.
Alternatively you will require either tele or field advertising sales experience from any media sector (i.e outdoor, online, radio, newspaper, magazine, directories, digital etc). You will have a solid track record of developing new business and managing existing accounts.
You will be passionate about online advertising and web based technologies and.
have an understanding of media buying and campaign planning.
Naturally creative and full of ideas you will also be able to demonstrate the ability to win new business and nurture these into key accounts. You will be IT literate, target-orientated, new media savvy, ambitious, articulate, proactive and driven to continue this brands success.
