Waking Night Staff (4 on, 4 off shift pattern)

Rugby

Salary: £19,804 - £21,023 + Bonus + Outstanding benefits package

Waking Night Staff - If one of our young people wakes up during the night, you’ll be there to check that everything’s alright. To do your best, you’ll need to build good relationships with our young people and be fully supported by sleeping in staff, who will be on hand to assist if needed during the night.   Through the night our Waking Night Staff keep administration up to date and the home clean and tidy. You will also complete building checks and keep the house safe at night.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar role. However, we welcome applications from people with other experience. With our specialist training and supportive team, you’ll soon be a skilled professional, as long as you’re calm in a crisis, resilient and committed to first-class care. If you’re a natural night owl that is happy to work unsociable hours and can be flexible, we would like to hear from you.

You will be required to complete, within 2 years, a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) (if you don’t have this or an equivalent already). You must also have a full UK driving license and have held this for a minimum of 12 months.

For children and young people with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. With our high staff-to-child ratio and in-house clinical teams, our Children’s homes have a reputation for excellence. Through our inspirational homes, schools and ethos, we’ve achieved the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re enhancing life opportunities.

Reward

Our salary and benefits package is among the best in our sector. It includes a competitive salary, contributory pension, comprehensive induction and ongoing training, 35 days holiday (including bank holidays) and £1000 per annum Attendance Incentive Scheme. We also offer extensive Group staff benefits, such as a Medicash Health Plan/Employee Assistance, Cycle to Work and tax free childcare vouchers. Witherslack conducts DBS Enhanced checks and covers the costs for all new employees.
