Working Arrangements: Monday – Friday, 37 hours p/w

Contract: Fixed term for 2 years

Our award winning council is beginning a new exciting digital journey to ensure we have the right technology and access to the right information, to help us deliver and develop local services to our customers anytime, anywhere and anyhow. This is an exciting opportunity for you to play a key part in this digital journey, in what will be an exciting period of change and innovation, as we introduce new technology, improvements and changes across the whole organisation.

This is a new a post, offered as a two year fixed term opportunity to support the delivery on some of our exciting Digital First projects. As a Change Management Officer based within Programme, Projects, Customer Feedback & Improvement Service you’ll be at the heart of the change and play a key role in managing major change initiatives across a number digital projects. Therefore we’re looking for a proactive and positive team player, someone with a real passion for improving services to come and be part of our team.

Your role in our journey

As a Change Management Officer you’ll provide strong leadership to support significant change and improvement programmes across our organisation. You’ll effectively plan and deliver manage change to ensure that change programmes and projects are embraced across a host of services, working closely with project managers. Crucially, you will develop close working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure they are actively engaged and champion change, whilst demonstrating the positive impacts and drive transformation in a planned and seamless way.

What you’ll need

To join us, you’ll need a level 6 qualification and have experience of managing effective change and transformation, using change management principles. .
