This new part time role within CPSL Mind recognises our recent growth and our ambitions for the future, as we embark on exciting new phase in pursuit of our vision of positive mental health for all.

Head of Finance and Resources
Based in Peterborough with travel across Cambridgeshire
Salary: £37,107 - £39,002 FTE (NJC scale point 35 to 37)
3 days per week

Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the successful candidate will play a critical role in our future development at the very start of an ambitious new three-year strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of CPSL Mind’s Finance and HR functions and processes.
  • Line management of Finance and HR Leads.
  • Provision of information and advice to support Directors on delivery of strategic objectives and business planning decisions.
  • Financial modelling to support the development of new services, tenders and funding applications.
  • Preparation and presentation of financial reports, including forecasting, to the Board of Trustees.
  • Support for Directors in financial management of CPSL Mind’s new Training Service Community Interest Company (CIC).
  • Support for CEO and Board of Trustees in the management of organisational risk.

This role requires a strong skill set in order to succeed and provide the correct support to the organisation as a whole. The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or possess relevant experience working in similar finance positions within your career
  • Previous management experience or working in a Business Partner role
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the organisation
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • High level excel skills and competency using financial systems
