Business Development Manager

We are currently looking for a motivated and friendly individual to work as Business Development Manager for enthusiastic hard worker who is determined to learn and develop

£21-£28K basic depending on your potential and experience. Bonus £14K + Company car or Car Allowance
OTE £40K

The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that our customers' expectations are met or exceeded.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm with some out of hour's visits to customer sites.
Holidays: 20 days per annum + Bank Holidays
Other Benefits: Loyalty, recommendation and referral bonuses
Main Office Location: Mint Hygiene Ltd, Unit 1, Union Court, 20-22 Union Road, London SW4 6JP (Soon reallocating in Woolwich)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Core Duties and Responsibilities

* Regular contact with customers by phone email and 121 meetings to build trust. Frequency & mode dependant on customer need & contract size - small medium large XL
* Proactively reveal opportunities to customers how to raise hygiene standards and boost efficiency + achieve BDM KPI's
* Contract quoting process
* Contract review process
* Generate Trade Account Leads for Mint Supplies BDMs
* Responsible for documenting all contact with customers in SAP and raise tasks as per process for all resign and upsell activity

Termination processes

* Follow contract end process and deal with inbound termination threats
* Deal with inbound invoice / billing queries from your assigned customers
* Raise credits / debits for your customers and maintain expenditure through your portfolio

New Businesses

* Generate new business appointments in Mint market sectors
* Convert quotes to achieve GP target


* Experience in the Washroom Industry
* Proven track record in similar position
* Clean driving licence
* Numeracy skills and knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
* Proven record in delivering customer service
* High level of personal organisation demonstrable in previous role
* Proven ability to make decisions and manage various tasks at the same time
* Demonstrable experience in dealing with staff, clients and prospect clients
