Due to a record breaking rise in demand, a highly successful, rapidly expanding global speciality service provider are seeking skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance professionals to complete their already very successful team on shift. As the Maintenance Engineer your main responsibility is to minimise plant downtime as well as ensure the effectiveness of plant machinery using planned maintenance strategies & continuous improvement techniques. You will also be heavily involved in all capex and improvement projects. Key Responsibilities: The ability to provide rapid response to breakdown where local manufacturing team require assistance To fault find, maintain and repair plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time To trouble shoot and repair equipment; equipment and systems to include Electrical, Mechanical, PLC's and material handling. Ability to advise and delegate to ensure work is carried out in accordance with achieving optimum running time on all kit Undertake specialist project work to assist the manufacturing team including Engineers Refurbish plant as required Ensure spare parts are sourced as required in support of all the above Enter maintenance data accurately into CBMS Implement 5S activities in all areas Coordinate activities of sub-contract personnel on site as and when required In order to be effective in this position you will need to remonstrate the following skills & experience: Time served/ apprentice trained electrical Engineer PLC Fault finding skills (Ideally Siemens S7 however others will strongly be considered) You will come from a manufacturing, process or industrial background Able to read mechanical and electrical technical drawings If this opportunity sounds like it might be for you or if you have any general queries then please contact Danny on 01612389770.
