Facilities Technician Plumbing Specialist Brighton - Full Driving licence and flexible to travel daily. £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience. 40 hours per week - between 7am and 8pm Mon – Sat as per rota Hunters’ client is a global leader in education requiring a Facilities Technician who is an Electrical Specialist. Key Accountabilities · Provide a committed approach to both proactive and reactive duties covering multiple locations. · Carry out first line plumbing, electrical, hot water and heating diagnostics and basic repairs. · Carry out basic building repairs including painting, basic carpentry, floor repairs etc. · Respond efficiently to maintenance fault calls with a committed approach through to their completion. · Assist in the completion of facilities PPM activities. · Supervise and monitor sub-contractor engineers whilst on-site. · Assist in delivering our Health and safety management processes. · Deliver a clean working environment including basic gardening, jet washing and bailing. · Assist in site portage requirements, removals, supplier collections as and when required. · Assist in emergency situations as fire warden to ensure student, staff & contractor safety. · Complying with the company Health and Safety policy always. · Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI’s. · Ensure that all costs are approved. · Flexibility to be part of a 24/7 call out rota. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required · Good PC skills including online portals and all Microsoft Office programmes. · Any trade qualifications would be advantageous. · Health and Safety knowledge. · Previous experience in building maintenance is required. · Ability to repair and maintain a range of equipment. · Respond to service call requests within agreed timescales. · Ability to prioritise tasks and follow specified procedures. · Have a proactive approach to a safe and clean working environment. · Full Driving licence and flexible to travel daily. · Desirable – NEBOSH certification. · Desirable – knowledge of safeguarding.
